Funtional language
Here are the expressions we have seen in English class
I suggest I, you, we, etc - Why don't we etc? - Let's... - Shall we etc? - We could etc - plus infinitive
What about etc? - How about etc? plus ing
I'm happy to- plus infinitive
That sounds like a good plan - great idea.
That works for me- does not work for me.
That's not a bad idea but how about etc? plus ing
That could be a bit difficult. What about etc? plus ing
How does that sound?
Do we all agree?
Is everyone happy to go with that idea?
Dialogue
-We need to get a birthday present for Jose.
-What about buying him a basketball.
-I would rather not. He has a sprained foot.
- Why don´t we buy him a watch
-He already has a smart watch. What about getting him a voucher.
-The voucher looks like a very dull thing. We should get him a usefull thing
-I suggest getting him a new pair of trainers. He loves sports.
-We don't know his size. How about getting him some tickets for the globertrotters.
- I think it is a really good idea.
.I also like it.
-Let´s go buy it.

End of the first term
Now I can speak English more fluently and I know the differences between the modal verbs. I enjoyed a lot Michael's classes, I have learnt a lot. I have learnt new grammar, and I worked in my pronuntiation , although I need to improve my presentation. We have seen that there are lots of difference between Spain and the USA such as decoration for festivities or houses.
